Hein's long experience as a market leader in Dermatoscopy has enabled us to set a new standard for image quality with the New DELTA 20 Dermatoscope. The DELTA 20 with 6-LED full-illumination or 3-LED lateral illumination combined with high-resolution precision optics using achromatic lenses is the result of dedicated research and product development by the HEINE team of engineers.

• No visible difference between 2.5 or 3.5V system.
  The voltage regulation system in the Delta 20 ensures a virtually identical brightness if used with either power source. This allows a less expensive 2.5V battery handle to be used without a compromise in diagnostic illumination. LED's also draw much less power than a halogen system (only 1/3), so battery consumption is not such a concern in a "C" cell battery option.
• The illumination of the 6 LED's is not direct, but rather projected through precision cylindrical light guides, producing a much more homogeneous light source.
  The DELTA 20 is 40% brighter than the DermoGenius. The DELTA 20 is 50% brighter than the DermLite. The brighter illumination is critically important in cases of strongly pigmented lesions.
• Can choose to illuminate with just three LED's for lateral illumination.

• The ocular opening of the DELTA 20 has a diameter of 21 mm.
