Littmann Master Classic II
Veterinary Stethoscopes are a series of stethoscopes designed for medium and
large animal applications. This model has a 32" inch long tube, ideal for equine
and larger dog use. These stethoscopes use the patented single sided chestpiece
design that combines both the bell and diaphragm modes into the same side of the
chestpiece. Light pressure detects low frequency sounds. Firm pressure produces
a diaphragm response detecting high frequency sounds. The single sided
chestpiece allows detection of both frequencies without changing position and
losing a landmark. Additionally, the design allows for an easier seal to the
skin and/or haircoat than the traditional bell.
All of the Littmann veterinary stethoscopes feature a patented diaphragm that
assures high acoustic sensitivity and consistent frequency responses. They also
feature lightweight headsets and soft-sealing ear tips which help ensure comfort
and a good seal in the ear.
Tunable technology provides convenience, versatility and enhanced acoustics. Its
dual-frequency diaphragm combines both bell (low-frequency) and diaphragm
(high-frequency) modes in one chestpiece side. You control bell and diaphragm
modes by pressure on the chestpiece rather than turning it over.
